Introduction

Hello! Bill Dawes here. Are you a beginner? I want to present everything you need to know to raise baby Angelfish. I've developed and illustrated a spawning fixture, a brine shrimp hatchery, and an egg counting grid that could also interest experienced breeders.

This is not the only way... but the techniques described here do work. Selected Web links describe different techniques, along with general and in-depth information useful to Angelfish fanciers and breeders.

 I once had 200 gallons in 9 tanks, and sold  juvenile Silver and Gold Angels, adults, breeding size and pairs.  My Kois, Blacks and German Blue Blushers didn't do well. The Kois and Blacks were too mean, and the Blues were not strong or fecund. Since moving to New Orleans in February 2002, I have no fish at all. Soon again, I hope.

The river was polluted for 18 years and is now clean enough again, and I want them to succeed. So far their site is not listed in the search engines, and linking is SO important! Organization of the ABFAQ

We have started the ABFAQ over again from scratch about 5 times in six years. This version includes metric measurements and much new information. We have created a list of resources where you can get help.  The complete FAQ for printing allows printing the whole FAQ (without some guest comments and pictures) for off-line study. I do ask that you pay $5 (or whatever) if you choose to print the FAQ... makes a great gift for a young breeder or any aquarist who isn't wired.
