Angelfish
All of our
fish are totally guaranteed to meet your
satisfaction. They will arrive live and with proper
acclimation and care will be vigorous and fast
growing. With proper care most strains will spawn at
8-10 months, and some strains will spawn sooner.
If at any
time within 30 days you are dissatisfied let me know
and we will ship you new fish or provide full credit.
You will be the sole judge of the quality of the fish
you receive. We do not ship fish with a body size of
less than a nickel. In our hatchery that means they
are 6-8 weeks old. As it is difficult to accurately
predict sales by strain, we frequently ship fish that
are much larger. However, our charge for all but the
very largest (well in excess of silver dollar size)
is the same, as we do not sell by size.
When you
purchase our fish you are buying the results of years
of genetic selection, backcrossing, and out-crossing.
There are no finer freshwater angels sold in America
today. These fish are bred and raised in water with a
pH of 7.8-8.0 and calcium carbonate hardness of
approximately 210 parts a million.
These fish
are meant for those who wish the finest show fish or
the serious hobbyist or breeder who wishes to meet
expenses or make a modest income by selling to
others. Strains with genetics that are difficult to
maintain are priced higher, as are those that are
uncommon. However, all fish are given the same care
in our hatchery and will be superb breeders with many
caring for their young.
